War Declared in the U.S. Senate!

"This one is going to be Armageddon," said Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, (R). Well it looks like this guy has a gift of prophecy. But the war started earlier than expected and not about the Supreme Court nominee but about national security issues, as you can read in the following:

The Democrats temporarily shut down television cameras in the chamber, cleared galleries of reporters, tourists and other onlookers, forced removal of staff members and recording devices and stopped work on legislation in order to discuss the intelligence that led to the Iraq war .

But the best part of the whole thing is (new) Majority Leader (the previous one having had legal problems)'s reaction, Bill Frist of Tennessee who said, [in a very angry fashion as you can see in this video] that

"The United States Senate has been hijacked by the Democratic leadership," adding, "Never have I been slapped in the face with such an affront to the leadership of this grand institution."

Maybe Mr Frist now has a better idea of what the rest of us have felt for the last 5 years! In any case, it is certainly good to see the Democrats coming out of their lethargy. I'm content. The last few days have shown that there is a God out there, and that He has a good sense of humor and even a sense of poetic justice. Ain’t I happy to see all those Neo-cons so mad!
