"Torture" v. "Sex".

These days the "game" consists of trying to decipher the carefully crafted words of State Secretary Rice when she talks about "torture" - and it seriously looks like she's playing with words and with the technicalities of the definition of "torture" (read here, here, here and here)
Doesn't that make you nostalgic for those happy days when the game was about trying to guess what Clinton "really" meant by "sex"? Boy, wasn't that a lot more fun - especially when it got technical. Too bad blogging was not around.
Is it me or is there something wrong with a nation that gets more worked up by the word "sex" than by the word "torture"? The former is (hopefully) much more common than the latter - hm, maybe that's why...
