The Longest May Day in the world!

Some Primero de Mayo in Puerto Rico! Some people there did 'walk-out' of work but did so forcibly:
On May 1st, 2006, the Puerto Rican government ran out of money (see here or here) and had to force the closure of all schools and all other government agencies. 95,762 people were put out of work in the first-ever partial shutdown of the government in the island's history.There has been no resolution yet.
If you didn't know, Puerto Rico is a US territory with commonwealth status, its chief of state is George W. Bush and its inhabitants have the US citizenship.
