Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Success.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers' first album in 4 years, "Stadium Arcadium" sees to do really well. It debuted at # 1 in the UK Albums Chart, the Japanese Oricon Albums chart, and the U.S. Billboard 200. It sold 442,000 copies in its first week of release in the U.S. Their song "Dani California" is also the # 1 video on MTV and I must say it's not bad at all (watch the video here).

Jody Rosen wrote a good informative article on them, appropriately called The improbable rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I guess they've been around for some time now but to me they're mostly associated with the 90s so I was a bit surprised to learn they've actually been playing for some 23 years.
