Violence in France :the End Soon.

UPDATE on Wednesday morning: For the second night in a row, the violence in the low-income suburbs of France has diminished and this time more significantly (AP dispatch in French here). From the 1400 cars set on fire two nights ago, we were down to 476 by 3:00 a.m. this Wednesday with only 115 cars torched in the Paris suburbs.
So it looks like this is finally coming to an end...

NOTE
: for our those of you who do not reside in France, you should know that for 90% of the French, it has been pretty much business as usual and very few have actually had their lives disrupted. The only violence most people have seen is ... on television as well. We should all keep in mind that TV can make things look even worse than they are, especially from abroad.
