French President's Vision Problems.

The irony of the news won't escape most of us:

President Jacques Chirac, 72, was hospitalized after suffering a minor vision problem.

Most of us have know about Chirac's vision problems for years - only they're not MINOR. It seems at times, he has no vision at all whatsoever. Given the persistent rumors about his hearing problems as well, one may fear we are going to end up with a president both blind and deaf.
Well, the only comfort is that he will probably not (be able to) run for a third-term, Thank God!
